Services Available to Minnesota's ABE Programs

The Minnesota Literacy Council (MLC) provides an array of services to the Adult Basic Education (ABE) community in Minnesota, including:

 

 

  • learners and volunteer referrals to literacy programs through our Adult Literacy Hotline
  • support for coordinators in volunteer literacy programs who rely on volunteer tutors to sustain or augment their literacy programs
  • technology training and support for ABE managers and educators at hundreds of local literacy programs
  • posting a broad collection of print and electronic teaching materials on our Web site that can make lessons fun and productive.
