Materials:  

Magazines or books with pictures

Procedure:

1. Ask the learner to choose a picture from a book or magazine.
2. Using the picture as a prompt, have the learner write down as many words as he or she can.
3. Alternatively, have the student write sentences or a story with the picture as a guide.
