Purpose:

To practice sight words

Preparation time:

None (unless you have not written out sight word flashcards)

Materials:

Up to five flashcards of words you have taught your learners recently

Procedure:

1. Start by reviewing two of the flashcards.
2. Lay the flashcards out on the table or place on the board with tape.
3. Ask learners to close their eyes or look away. Remove one flashcard.
4. Learners then look at the flashcards and tell you which one you have removed.
5. Repeat this process as you add and review the remaining flashcards one at a time.
