The MLC Learning Center - Lake Street in South Minneapolis offers free instruction to adults in English as a Second Language and citizenship.  The center has a large library of educational materials, as well as computers and software to assist adult students and volunteer tutors.

 

PLEASE NOTE OUR NEW LOCATION:  We have recently moved from 3127 Lake Street to the second floor of the Coliseum Building at 2700 E. Lake Street.
 
 
 
Class Schedule:
Morning: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm M - Th (beginning to advanced English)
Afternoon: 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm M - F (intermediate ESL/Civics class)
Evening: 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm M - Th (pre-lit to advanced English)
ACES Computer class: 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm M, W

 

The MLC Learning Center on Lake Street relies on volunteers to tutor individuals and assist teachers in the classroom. We are always seeking committed individuals who want to make a difference by becoming a volunteer tutor.
