Minnesota Reading Corps is a state-wide initiative that focuses on providing literacy tutoring to children age three to grade three throughout the state.  The vision of the initiative is for every Minnesota child to read by the end of third grade.  For the past four years, Minnesota Reading Corps members have served in Pre-K and K-3 settings as AmeriCorps members helping thousands of children prepare for kindergarten and become successful readers. 

 

General member recruitment for the 07-08 program year has closed.

 The next program year begins in August, 2008.
