items to put in the box

Preparation: Select items that will encourage students to use adjectives they already know related to size, shape, texture, etc.

  2. When you stop playing the music or when you say “stop”, the student with the box has to put his or her hand in the box and describe the object while the others try to guess what it is.

Variations:

    • Do the same thing with 20 Questions, but put names of celebrities or students in the box.
