Sight Word Activities
Flashcard Removal

This activity adds some variety to the practice you do with sight words. The learners have to think in a different way to work out which word is missing.

Teaching Sight Words With Phrases

Learning to sight read abstract words is tough. A concrete noun like “dog” is much easier than an abstract word such as ‘have.” Students might have an easier time memorizing these words if they associate them with a phrase.

Categorizing Sight Words
Learners check their knowledge of sight words by arranging them in different categories.
