Purpose:

To help student practice writing numbers 1-100 or the alphabet in order

Preparation time:

None

Materials:

2 dice, a pen, a piece of paper for each learner

Procedure:

  1. Give each learner a piece of paper.
  2. Have learners stand around a large table.
  3. Have one student begin rolling the dice. As soon as he or she gets doubles, he/she should pick up the pen and start writing number 1-100 or the alphabet A-Z.
  4. As soon as the first person starts writing, the next person should start rolling the dice. When he gets doubles, he should take the pen from the first person and start writing. At this point, the next person takes the dice and begins rolling.
  5. Continue until someone gets to 100 or Z before someone else rolls doubles.
