Many children in Minnesota are reading below grade level and are at-risk for academic failure.  However, research shows that along with support from teachers and parents, early intervention by well-prepared volunteer tutors can have a significant impact on a child’s academic gain and self-confidence.

After completing the training, MLC's Children's Tutoring Network (CTN) will match you with a children’s literacy program in the Minneapolis/St.Paul area that fits your interests and scheduling requirements.
