Writing
There are many skills involved in writing. Not only do learners need to concentrate on the grammar and vocabulary they are using, but they also need to produce, select and organize ideas and think about the conventions and format of the writing task they are attempting. These activities help learners practice a variety of writing skills.

Borrowing
This activity provides practice in spelling as well as practice requesting to borrow something.

Using Model Texts

One way to show learners a particular type of writing is to give them a model text. But a model text can be used in many other ways to help learners better understand the format and conventions of that type of writing, language structures used, formality and tone.

Sign It

This activity is a quick way to help learners start signing their names when asked to do so on forms without going through the formation of all of the cursive letters.

And That's the News
Learners create stories based on pictures from the newspaper.

Ask Me a Question

Students will learn more about their classmates in this activity and you can use it to see where your learners are having trouble with writing questions.

Personal Information TPR
TPR (Total Physical Response) encourages learners to learn through body actions. This activity helps them with filling out forms as well.

Build a Sentence
This warmer or filler activity helps learners place adjectives and adverbs in the correct positions.
