Early Literacy and Families Program
The Early Literacy and Families (ELF) Program at MLC teaches parents how to nurture their preschool children's emerging literacy skills.

The ELF program operates an English school for preschoolers whose parents attend MLC English classes and offers literacy home visits to families who qualify.

Literacy Home Visiting: Bilingual Home Literacy Coaches help parents connect literacy to everyday home activities to better support their children's learning.

Children's English School:  Young children attend this program while their parents take English classes at the same location.  Parents receive extra instruction in early literacy activities to do at home to help extend their child's learning.
