| The MLC Learning Center - North Side offers free and confidential instruction to adults in basic reading, English as a Second Language, citizenship, math, GED, and computers. Our Learning Center's services are targeted to those in need of basic skills to help them succeed as family members, workers, and community citizens. The center has a large library of educational materials, as well as computers and software to assist students and volunteer tutors.
Program staff members include a center coordinator, a lead teacher and trained volunteers. ESL classes are offered Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
The MLC Learning Center on the North Side of Minneapolis relies on volunteers to tutor individuals and teach small groups on-site or in other nearby public locations. We are always seeking committed individuals who want to make a difference.
