The MLC Learning Center - Arlington Hills offers a unique Functional Work English program, which helps participants receiving public assistance to learn English skills that they need to obtain jobs and decrease their dependence on public assistance. 

Teachers lead four intensive classes, which are held Monday through Friday from 9:15 - 1:15 at the MLC Learning Center located in Arlington Hills Lutheran Church on St. Paul's East Side. The program address is:
