MLC Learning Center - Arlington Hills

The MLC Learning Center - Arlington Hills offers a unique English program which helps participants learn the English skills that they need to obtain jobs. 

 

For adult learners on public assistance, teachers lead intensive Functional Work English classes, which are held Monday through Friday from 9:15 - 1:15 at the MLC Learning Center located in Arlington Hills Lutheran Church on St. Paul's East Side.  

 

Class Schedule:
  • 9:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. M - F (Beginning Literacy ESL to Intermediate ESL with a Work Skills Focus; Learners can attend all four hours or for a two-hour session from 9:15 - 11:15 a.m. or from 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.)

  • 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. M-F (Job Search Skills)

  • 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. M-Th (Low Beginning ESL to Advanced ESL)

 

Free preschool! Adults who are taking morning classes can bring their children (ages 3-5) to the Children's English School. The preschool class times are 9:15 a.m. to 11:15 p.m. Monday - Friday.
